Network Monitoring - Interface Bandwidth I/O

Use SNMP to monitor the interface input/output of networking routers, switches and devices.

Monitoring: Use the following counters to monitor the bandwidth received and transmitted on the device interfaces.

SNMP OID: .1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.10
.iso.org.dod.internet.mgmt.mib-2.interfaces.ifTable.ifEntry.ifInOctets
Description: The total number of octets received on the interface, including framing characters.
 

SNMP OID: .1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.16
.iso.org.dod.internet.mgmt.mib-2.interfaces.ifTable.ifEntry.ifOutOctets
Description: The total number of octets transmitted out of the interface, including framing characters.
